analog to pmetThe Kraken pegmatite swarm has a long way to go to even get close to Pmet but there are some elephant tracks out there. This is my list of key indicators leading toward that Conclusion :
- good grade lithium as high as 2.73% with 11 rock samples greater than 1.0% lithium
- the known immediate trend ( drilling and rock sampling ) is approx. 3.0km long
- historical data ( additional pegmatite occurrences) suggests the trend could be 6.0km long following an extensive fault system
- Sic has staked almost all of that ground ( very large property!)
- the discovery hole found 8.4m of 0.94% lithium
- Sic is waiting on 13 drill holes ( 2400m) - all from the East dyke swarm ( 600m east of the -discovery hole)
- one drill hole contained a pegmatite dyke of approx. 27m thickness ( which is getting there)
- drill hole GH -22-15 looks impressive - very high density of spodumene crystals suggesting much higher grades are possible. (4.0%?)
- 700 core samples were sent to the lab ( suggesting lots to look at and lots to wait on)
As I said earlier , IMHO Kraken is in it's infancy ! Kraken is where Pmet was a year ago .Pegmatite dyke swarms usually contain innumerable dykes and dyke complexes covering a large area .Lets hope at Kraken the sheeted dykes are stacked and folded upon one another leading to a massive thickness similar to that just announced from Pmet. Whatever Sic uncovers, it will only add significant value to Sic on top of the already impressive Moosehead project!
( IMHO SIC is ridiculously undervalued!)
