MT NELSON - LITHOLOGY

MT NELSON - LITHOLOGY if your into geology - then this research paper is definitly for you.
Covers the - lithology andmineral occurence on and around , Mt Nelson.
Driftwood i would say, is in the - Paradise formation.
Just below the peak of, Mt Nelson.

Mr Pope,
Hats off to you.
Wonderful job covering every nook and  cranny, on lithologies, area mines, minerals,
and with detailed maps that reveal the faults and where they mined the minerals.

2 mines of note - close prox to Driftwood.
- Paradise
- Mineral King

Gold, lead, silver, zinc, copper.
Silver, lead, copper = ideal minerals that cobalt is usually found amongst.

My thoughts are... if cobalt were ever present - they just didn't recognize it, or, didn't know - too busy mining the other notable minerals.

Page - 12 - 14
over 100m purple sequence  ( dolo, mudstone, argillites, shales, siltstones in purple hues )

And so much more....
Incredible work was put into this report.

Mr Pope, apparently works as a Principal Geologist for - Rio Tinto.
He als ohas his doctroal in, structural geology.
No wonder this report is so amazing.

So... if MGX documented a - purple showing - just north of the West deposit -
My feelings are... with the fault activity, and mountain ranges that rose up, to form mountains,
I would hazzard a guess and say... the ( lenses 0 folded on them selves...
If dolo zones are below - these dolo zones were lifted up, squished asdie of the mountain as it formed, folded over = instant dolo depoist atop surface.

as mentioned... purple zone over 100m thick below grade.
350m strike of purple dolo at surface - 100 or so meters north of western deposit.

Two potential - lithogies - to zero in on - check for cobalt.
But.. .checking all ore types would be smart.
Given, the tech report did state - magnesite rock broken open reveled - pinks.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I also tried searching for - other cobalt findings in - b.c.
lol, lol, lol

Came across this Aris report ....
mentioning in it;s title.... well, i'll let you read  the captions -
Guess what ?
The file can't be opened.
GO figure - purpilish grey + cobalt are mentioned..
wink.

On fresh surfaces the rock is purplish-grey with dark purple laminations. This sequence ... Drilling has shown that copper, silver, cobalt mineralization is

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for Cruz cobalt ?
I'm not sure now.. .every link i open that captions - cobalt - ear eagle - the link opens to
other claims they've drilled... someone has tagged war eagle with all thier other claims.
ODD.

But.. .there is another cobalt seeker in B.C.
Aussies have touched down.

Guess what they're write up says ?

The Gold Bridge Project (367 km² of tenure), formerly the Little Gem Project, is located 180 km north of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. The Project was discovered in the 1930s by prospectors identifying a pink cobalt-bloom on weathered mineralisation that led to three adits being developed. A total of 1,268 m of drilling was completed from underground and detailed channel sampling was taken from the adits. Blackstone acquired the Gold Bridge Project in October 2017

Here's an article on BalckHawk -
Notice the ore body colorations  - they say sulphide...
I'm not seeing any sulphides... moreso, dolo carbonates and quartz.
Also - grey's that might lend a magnesium or manganese.

Good to see what other ores - other peers are finding cobalt in.

There... that's all the research i'm doing.
Too tired.

Hope some of the research has shed some light on the topic of -cobalt.
Again... not saying they have it.. .but the what if ?

COBALT COMES IN....
Greys, Blue Greys, Purples, Pinks.

Cheers....
