Which is less than 1% of worldwide non renewable energy consumption. I'm guessing the cost to extract NG is around $15 per BOE, prices around the world of course are much higher than this. But he vastly underestimates the tax revenue potential. Norway which produces approximately 2M BOE of oil per day and approximately 2M BOE of NG per day, will cashflow 933B Kroner or C$122B in 2022 from their oil and gas industry.
