CanaanRGood to see you are back Steve. Still lobstering here in the fall?
You are correct that I lost alot of money in the stockmarket, but as you know, I initially made alot of it in the Market in the first place.
As for Surge Energy, I was still buying them over 2 years ago when the MSM was telling us that it was the end of oil.
Presently, I am where I started about 10 years ago in my stockmarket investments and yes I am fully invested in oil! The funny thing is as everyone knows, land prices have skyrocked and we now have over 400 acres of prime land for building lots. Seems that everyone in Ontario wants to move to my part of Nova Scotia, but our Muncipal Government has rezoned most of my county, preventing the construction of residental dellings. Thankfully, most of my non-agricultural land lies outside of these rezoned areas. So in reality, I lost some but gained some.
As for my take on Chemtrade, keep in mind that my negative comments on Chemtrade were and are mainly on the high compensation amounts that management had been receiving and my indepth comments on those issues did sway the unitholders in voting against the excess compensation packages for management.
Finally, a settlement was reached in the Poseidon Concepts fraud and one of the main reasons why any charges were pursued in the first place was because of the information that I uncovered and had passed on to the SEC, and not the ASC.
