RE:To avoid slow deep under-reamingDfly, Dirk has found a new calling in life selling peanuts and doubles on the highway to Port of Spain with the Rastas.
Undereaming is slow and chews up a lot of time. They talk about a problematic Campanian on Kawa. Did they have to run an emergency liner to get some unexpected problem zone isolated and then have to undeream below the liner shoe to get back to the original planned hole diameter?
This is what the Stocktwit experts should be explaining. The planned Wei casing design looks quite straight forward and will really simplify drilling. They obviously learned a lot from Kawa about the formations and what they contain. Maybe with the new design they'll be able to drill the Campanian with higher mud weights and allow them to get wireline logs and MDTs because they'll be in open hole. My guess is that they had to run an emergency liner in the Campanian on Kawa which precluded MDT. I'm just guessing though.
I can just imagine the sp volatility as they drill through Maastritician and Campanian! Should be a wild ride! Ride em cowboy!
Yeah grab a few shares for fun. You and Clouder must be doing great with TCF. This entire investing game is so complex these days that one would have to learn to solve partial differential equations with all of these reference frames moving relative to one another. It's like trying to understand what would be projected onto the floor if one were drawing a circle on a paper, with the paper moving in an oval on a table, with the table moving in a square on a floor. Now they're talking about housing market collapse early next year. How's that for an erratic vibrating, shaky floor? Wei could turn out to be spectacular and oyl sp still underperform as markets decline overall. Gotta be nimble these days.
