ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Gerald Panneton, is the founder and former Pres/CEO of Detour Gold Corporation. Under his leadership, the Detour Lake project became one of the largest gold mines in Canada. During his career, he played a key role in the discovery and advancement of several gold deposits worldwide. Earlier in his career, Mr. Panneton spent 12 years at Barrick Gold Corporation where for the last six years of his tenure, he was Director of Advanced Projects and Evaluations for the exploration and corporate development group. He was instrumental in advancing two gold projects towards production, Tulawaka and Buzwagi in Tanzania.
