Next Steps

Next StepsThe next logical steps is for AWM and Aston to form a business combination.  By doing so, this will make it more attractive to potential suitors.  In additon, this will allow AWM to have NA listing allowing for greater liquidity. The complexity of the JV transaction may also discourage potential suitors from joining in on the action.  Majors will want a larger stake in this project.  Sure they can take the developmental path for a low footprint DSO operation but the real money will be made with an open pit mine followed by underground development.  Next years program should focus on expanding the deeper portion of the deposit and finding high grade ore at depth.  Everyone is already aware of the near surface copper grades, now they need to prove the deeper portion and very fast.

Before we claim greatest grades on the planet have a look at IVN's operation in the DRC.  Here's a link to their Stratiform deposit.  https://ivanhoemines.com/projects/kamoa-kakula-project/  I hope that we can prove up something similar.  Lots of work to go.

I see this project in the hands of Ivanhoe Electric ticker IE.  Last time I heard Robert knows a thing or two about exploration and finding large Stratiform deposits.  Robert, get out your cheqebook.
