Procon John MCVey of Procon on LinkedIn
" CCAB shared this news with us a couple weeks ago and it has been real hard keeping it a secret. With today's press release, I can now say how proud I am that Procon Mining and Tunnelling Ltd. (‘Procon’) has achieved certification in Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR).
Although the formal PAR certification process has been a 3.5 year 'project', this journey actually started 3o years ago with the founding of our company. Procon's commitment to forming constructive, mutually beneficial, and long lasting partnerships with Indigenous communities and businesses, has been a cornerstone of our organization, and how we go about executing our underground mining projects. We are proud of what we have achieved to-date, and yet we recognize that we still have so much more to learn.
Special thanks to Greg Bolton who has been our PAR certification 'champion', as well as to all Procon employees who have whole-heartedly embraced and supported this journey. I would also like to thank Procon's many Indigenous business partners across Canada, both past and present, for their support, friendship, patience, and teachings...we couldn't have achieved this without you."
reality is if you want to mine in canada you better have great relations with FN ...I would say these guy have that and as I understand they have a great chunk of FT.
