Warming global temperatures doesn't mean winters disappear. No expert says that except people setting up a straw man they want to knock down. Warming temperatures have multiple impacts which have already demonstrated their effects. Warming ocean waters and higher humidity results in changing weather patterns and often more precipitation, which means winters may be more extreme, thunderstorms more common, and hurricanes more frequent.
Only a simpleton ignores the vast amount of data out there and turns it into a toddlers argument of 'cow farts make winter disappear haha moron'.
Ask the snow crab fishery how well they are doing these days as the surface ice the fishery relies on for sustainability recedes faster and recovers slower every single year. Or the worst drought in 1200 years the American Southwest is facing, exacerbated by water use laws that allocate more water than actually exists to the States involved.
Corporations have no choice but to factor these kinds of things into their decision making because failing to do so means they fail. Every fossil fuel major on the planet is investing in renewables and alternative energy resources not because they don't think oil is profitable, but because they see the writing on the wall, even if politicians that want to pander to the ignorant and rage fueled don't. They'd be irresponsible NOT to factor it in to their decision making process.
As for how it relates to Atlas Salt, the resource isn't one that faces major threats due to global climate change to an appreciable degree because it has wide applications, road salt being just one. Given the reality of global climate change, it's very possible there would be an even higher demand for it in the coming years as blizzards are expected to be more severe and common in frequency with higher levels of precipitation, even if the periods where they occur are shorter.
Sticking ones fingers in ones ears and screaming 'Lalala morons you must love Trudeau' may make a toddler feel smug and superior but everyone else watching just sees a toddler throwing a tantrum.
