I suspect the downdraft in crude oil prices sealed the deal. Delta was taking bids from multiple parties, most notably headwater but rumour has it there were megacaps in on the bid. Therefore I was expecting the assets to go for $70k+/boe. 

This deal was likely sitting there for months and delta finally conceded late last week, perhaps out of fear of a further drop in the price of oil into the fall which does not look likely to me.

TVE, deal is accreative now  ! More lucrative  than wcp/xtc !!
