Quarterhill bought ETC in August of 2021 for $150M Canadian.
At that time, the following ITS companies were worth:
REKR: $11.00
GSI.V: $0.75
ITI: $6.00
Since then, they have fallen to
REKR: $1.00 (91%)
GSI.V: $0.25 (67%)
ITI: $3.25 (46%)
Average decline (68%)
The issue is that ETC was purchased half with leverage. At best, shareholder equity in ETC is worth 0. At worst, it is worth negative ($50M) if it matched REKR.
If ETC was a separately traded stock market cap would be at Lendified levels as the debt would be too high relative to cash flow and shareholders would have been wiped out.
