Must have a creditworthy offtaker. The Nova Scotia's gov't will have to step in so Northland can get financed.
So far I read only about small companies being involved with hydrogen and the like. And European offtakers for hydrogen seem to be interested in short-term contracts.
So with 5GW potential I see the province exporting a lot.
Provide offshore developers with inflation protection for the electricity and a profitable market for the energy, Northland will be there.
