I like to play the short term oscillations too, when there is a show stopper; did it with CCO during the japanese earthquake years ago and more recently with HCG. You have to be nimble and in the end i carried both for a few years later and made some great $$ with HCG.
On your cue yesterday, i too am in HOU, but i know how badly you can get bit as i played HGU for years during specific seasons. I think you are absolutely right about it bouncing off of a bottom.
