CANDENTE COPPER IS PRIMED TO MOVE HIGHER Well I must say this is all very interesting.
It is very clear to me that Fortescue would like ownership of Candente Copper.
Bringing on 2 new board members now brings the total board members to 9.
Meynert is a clear company man for FMG (he is responsible for Fortescue's transactional corporate development activities including managing Fortescue's investment portfolio of publicly listed mineral companies and structuring investment transactions) but Latimer not so sure (Managing Director and Head of the Americas for London-based Bacchus Capital Advisers, an independent investment banking boutique with a particular expertise in the natural resources sector...with a focus on both operating and development copper companies operating in the Americas).
With now 9 members, 2 aligned with FMG and assuming 7 with current management, there is no other purpose for this decision but to build the mine.
Bonifacio, Found, Inchaustegui and the rest are very accomplished individuals and it seems the company has assembled the team that will bring Norte, Sur and Verde to life.
I see blue sky for $DNT stock and for mine development.
