RE:My Christmas present Even though the comment period is closed I don't think a decision has been made on this.

I suspect it's nothing more than what they already have getting renewed.
This site has a database of permit applications. So far I can't find any that were rejected. Just exactly how much risk is associated with them not getting the permits?

Tonnage processed x grade x price minus costs. The numbers will be impressive, but all the analysts and serious players already have a good idea of the math.
What may (I hope) surprise us is the permitting path to production. If the company can show a business plan that allows for shipping some raw ore prior to the end of 2026, that would be a surprise. Even a relatively small process mill that allows for the sale of 100,000 tons a year to get some cash flow, learn more about the processing of the ore and get the ore into a chemical plant somewhere to get that process clarified before FL tries to build one would be a great Christmas present. This could be done with the road as it is.
It will require movement from the Ontario government, a clear environmental review process from all levels of government and then a cost analysis to show the benefits to FL. Most of that is beyond the control of mgmt, we are at the mercy of the regulators now It is clear that the market wants more Li produced, but translating that to actual government action and clarity on an approval process will be hard.
Due to the uncertainty it is hard top see how an offtake agreement could be done for ore delivery 4 years hence. As much as there is a Li frenzy today, battery and chemical companies will be unwilling to lock in these prices and pay cash up front ( that FL desperately needs) with no clear production date, rate or permit path. If that permit process changes for the better, that would surprise the market. Best of luck
