RE:What is the Hydrogen Centre of Excellence? Thanks Whampoa. Perhaps you also posted this to let people know (or remind them)
that AI - Alberta Innovates will be familiar with the expertise of Acceleware's technology.
Back in March of 2021, AI entered into an investment agreement with AXE and provided
a contibution up to $5M for the RF XL commercial pilot test at Marwayne, Alberta.
Just a year later in early March 2022, AXE energized the RF XL system and successfully
injected power into the transmission lines for thirty consecutive days, a significant milestone.
They also announced that the Pilot commenced producing oil on April 6, 2022, at rates
consistent with the gradual ramp up of heating.
And now, following six months of operation of its Clean Tech Inverter (“CTI”) at the
commercial-scale RF XL pilot project, the company has been working to develop new
CTI industrial heating applications via collaborative partnerships.
This effort has developed already (NR Sept 7) into a collaboration between Acceleware
and Aurora Hydrogen Inc. (“Aurora”) to produce CTI-powered clean hydrogen via
methane pyrolysis.
Excerpt from NR:
The collaborative nature of Acceleware’s CTI expansion strategy allows
the Company to maintain continued focus on the successful execution of the Pilot and the subsequent commercialization of RF XL technology, while also leveraging the power of its
CTI for other high value use cases. IMO, there are going to be more exciting times ahead.
