FWIW

FWIWFWIW:

Started reducing the "Nukester Dry Powder Stack"
Went long on some Jan 23 Suncor 30 Calls.
Ask $2.10
Bid  $ 2.05
Order filled, then ask promptly went lower after my fill.
My tin foil hat says Schwab's algorithms are programmed with a sense of humor :-)

Investment Thesis:
Big down day in general market, time to get "Costco Style" pricing on lots of fun stuff.

SU 30 calls were a bit out of the money, did not seem to expensive (Says the guy who is too lazy to use a Black & Scholes option calculator)

United States petroleum reserve (SPR) drain should end November.

Russian output will continue to drop for numerous reasons.

China will someday end some covid lockdowns :-)

Suncor Q3 report should be released early November, cash flow should be sweet.

Suncor should pop over 30 long before my January 30 Calls decay.  ( I hope)

Cheers,
Nukester
