E3 Lithium Ltd V.ETL

Alternate Symbol(s):  EEMMF

E3 Lithium Ltd. is a Canada-based development company. The Company is focused on commercial development of lithium extraction from brines contained in its mineral properties in Alberta. Its Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) on-exchange technology uses a sorbent designed to be selective towards lithium ions. Its technology reduces volumes of low-grade brine into a high-grade lithium concentrate, removing nearly all impurities. This produces a clean product for the development of high purity lithium compounds used in Li-ion batteries. The Company has measured and indicated lithium resources in Canada, with 16.0 million tons (Mt) measured and indicated Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE), hosted in the Leduc Aquifer. In addition, it has 0.9 Mt of inferred mineral resources in its Rocky Area.

RE:Competition?

RE:Competition?Maybe Plan B?

This outfit (IBAT) is led by a fellow credited with developing DLE some years ago. A fellow named "Tazerface" touts this on several other boards. He's done a lot of DD on DLE. Far as I can tell, IBAT owns no resources. Rather they have developed a process and built a "mobile" plant that they claim is extracting lithium from brines in commercial quantities. If that is the case, they are ahead of ETL in that they have (essentially) a pilot plant that is successful. That should be great news for us since it proves its doable. Their plan is to partner with companies that own a resource and for 10% of the action they will set up their plant and extract the lithium.
So, Suppose our boys end up not sucessful with the Pilot Plant? Plan B could be to pick up the phone, dial IBAT and sign them up. E3 makes a little less ... but a little less of a bazillion is still a lot.
So I don't see IBAT as a threat or a competitor ... they are plan B to me.
