RE:RE:RE:I'm guessing that the 18 month Too many retailers, too much pot, too many grows, too much competition and too low prices. Attrition needs to happen desperately in Canada
Not to mention too much illegal weed and very little will by law and policy makers to drive them out.
I have mentioned before that there could be undue influence to let the illegal weed trade keep happening.
I have also mentioned the ways to success are value added forms of ingestion, especially beverages but a lot of law changing needs to happen to get us on the same level as alcohol. I doubt that cartels and HA are going to do value added edibles and drinkables or vapes and the like so companies that niche that out should do allright.
The other thing I have mentioned is pharma use. Potpreneurs that prove up their products to be able to legally declare and back their strains as having medicinal properties have a chance of making good profits. This is expensive and time consuming and I doubt that illegal weedpreneurs are willing to go the distance to get din numbers and do expensive trials.
I keep mentioning CBDV and THCB which are recognized by some for weight loss which is a little different than pain killiing properties, sleep properties or anti-anxiety but those that can back these claims are destined to make money.
In the meantime, there is so much safe inspected pot and it is so cheap that everybody is dropping trou to sell it and there is no profit left in it in smokeable form.
