RE:RE:RE:RE:Guatemala’s constitutional court issued a ruling nullifying Not sure if you got a good overview whats going on there. However, as I said, the pro mining community is much bigger than the anti mining.
Taking the "referendum", which is not at all representive, only 8k from more than 30k voted for no. Only 9k participated, again, 30k were qualified to participate. And of course they got almost only no votes since this was not at all a representive and fair, so similar to those Russian referendums done in Ukraine just recently.
Regarding the governemnt, all of them are pro mining since it brings thousand of jobs, millions or even billions from taxes and royalties, so economic growth and development. There is almost no other short term opportunity to generate USD income.
Last but not least, in terms of the financing, we will see a re rating before they will raise the funds. And only around 30% will be equity. The rest will be debt and streams. Due to the great economics of the project, it will be pretty easy to do those fincancings.
So all in all, this is a way better investement than MOZ e.g. I would even say one of the best projeccts in the world and you only have to pay 45 mio USD for the entire company. Amazing.
