Introduction to Suing ItSlander:
1. That the words refer to the plaintiff;
2. That the words have been published to a third party; and
3. That the words complained about are defamatory to the plaintiff.:
Defamation:
To prove prima facie defamation, a plaintiff must show four things:
1) a false statement puporting to be a fact
2) publication or communication of that statement to a third person;
3) fault amounting to at least negligence; and
4) damages, or some harm caused to the reputation of the person or entity who is the subject ...
Slander point 1 and defamation point 4. Neither is met in the case of a person on the receiving end if that person is not a real person, aka is anonymous. Yoo hoo.
