RE:RE:SP got manipulated. Down with minimal volumes..Your analysis could not be more erroneous.
The near-surface gold is still there, almost three million ounces of it (or more).
The reason the company is concentrating on the deep gold assays presently is that that is where the mother lode is believed to be. It, I suspect, will be a multiple of three million ounces.
Drilling a km or two deep is obviously a more difficult technical job and more time consuming. Previous drilling deeper than near surface has shown richer grades of gold and it makes sense to believe that at depths of a km or more the grade of the gold at that level will be far, far higher than what has been uncovered to date.
This is the type of situation in which patience is required, moreso than previous.
I suspect MGM shares are now under accumulation in a manner which is designed to draw as little attention to the company as possible. Now, why would that be . . . ?
You say you "feel hoodwinked and are suspicious about the backlogged reports." I covered the reports in a previous reply. Personally, I feel optimistic and grateful that I have been able to acquire a substantial number of MGM shares. I have held them for a number of years and not sold a single, solitary one and will not until this company's share price is a substantial multiple of what it is now or it is bought by a major, the most likely of which suitors would be Agnico-Eagle, or some other appropriate major.
When Sean Boyd chose to partner up with Maple Gold I do not think he would have done so if he saw nothing attractive about the company. He did not get where he is now with AEM by being stupid, impatient or lacking foresight!
Now, there is no guarantee that Maple Gold Mines will 'strike her big' but I believe a bet for it will trump a bet against it in due time.
A final comment. Sean Boyd is known to be a straight shooter. Over the years I have held Maple Gold shares and during all the occasion I have spoken with Matt, Fred and Joness, not on one single occasion have I sensed I was not being told the truth. It could be that they are very skilled liars but it takes unusual skill to continue a thread of untruth that long and so I am left with the conclusion that Maple Gold is an honest company and that conclusion is doubtless the same one Sean Boyd had come to prior to partnering up with MGM.
All will come out in time. But if I were you, I would hold my shares tightly unless with the passage of additional time a reason emerges why you should not.
May you and all MGM shareholders be richly rewarded for believing in this company and supporting it. I strongly doubt we will be disappointed, IMHO.
