Rock Tech is 1-2 years (IMO) from putting shovel to ground in Thunder Bay; then 2-3 years of construction. This could all be contigent on the converter to finish in Guben (2-3 yrs). Hopefully they have some construction over-lap and the time-frame is shortened BUT where is the money coming from. ILI will likely have to wait it out for a RCK offer. Hope I'm wrong and ILI pops sooner than later.
ILI should be pressing the Federal/Provicial Govn't for some of the millions to promote the Northern Ontario mining sector; perhaps ILI can help RCK out with the Thunder Bay project.
Going it alone will take years/never happen - partnering will help all parties involved and get these projects going forward.
