What difference is there that Polaris was on a different island, it was even further north and you are trying to scare people into thinking that Somerset is too far north, too remote.
Permiiting issues never came up in your too far north scare tactics until now.
Can you provide some information on the money losing Polaris, and Nanasivik mine to show the board that they were failures and could not be mined.
The could not be mined would help as I have many friends who worked at both and who now work at Baffinland.
My argument is that is is an unprofitable place to mine - especially if you are looking at a small scooping, gravel pit style, shake and no-bake, mining operations like AW1 is proposing for Storm.
There is still zinc, lead, silver at both Polaris and nanasivik - I have seen the ore myself. Are the mining there now? No. Why?
Hypothesis - unprofitable. Confirmation - cominco 2003-2009 annual reports.
