RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Understand WELLAppreciate your well-thought out insights, Smokey1958.
I continue to follow the numbers, which all indicate that we are gaining momentum along ever business line, revenues are growing, as are EBITDA and free cash flows that will be used to re-invest. Peer healthcare assets are trading at depressed valuations, if aligned with WELL we can pick these up. Things are a little quiet on the M&A front but in terms of internal capital allocation and growth things are booming. Circle, WISP, Canadian clinics, CRH/US clinical businesses are firing on all cylinders as per Q2 blowout on a traditionally slower quarter. With Q3 finished, I am anticipating another great quarter, with revenues >$150MM
No doubt we are headed towards $1Bn revenue... which means we are also headed towards $2Bn revenue and $4Bn revenue and so on... the best part is that we can continue consolidating the sector. What a fantastic sector to be in!
In the latest financing round, there was mention of a large international soveriegn fund taking position. I would expect to see more interest from such funds as well as a large operator taking a cornerstone position.
This is only the first inning of a long, long ball-game. Hamed and team are just getting started. Like you said, there is absolutely no need to sell. Hamed is still a young dude with plenty of run way to deploy his talents to better healthcare delivery. This guy is the real deal and is putting together a company that can operate for decades to come. In 7-10 years, we will start seeing dividends from WELL. By then, it will be a behemoth compared to now... and now it is a behemoth compared to 5 years ago.
There are a few people who know how to long-term, sustained value by mobilizing resources towards positive outcomes in society. Hamed is one of those people. This business is truly an extension of his philosophy for life. Here is a company truly aligned with its stakeholders and we have the privilege of being counted among them as shareholders, and, for some, as patients. This is a company fit to tackle one of the most important challenges in society, primary healthcare.
Looking forward to Q3 results!
