RE:Sold of all of my SU this week.

RE:Sold of all of my SU this week. Good points Obscure1.  The real estate investors have been riding on ultra low rates and already I have heard rumblings from rentors being told the rent is going up due to rate hikes and many are beyond the year 1 lock in time and doing a month to month.  So the landlord has the power.  Either higher rent or move and they will still pay higher rent.

Great comment on stock sale versus housing assets.  Push of a button versus weeks of work and moving expenses/time.

I am about 25% cash, but I may do as Cramer says...take some off the table and go buy a sweater.  :)

A position of a bit more cash could be a good thing.  It would be nice to find an interest bearing short term option that is liquid within an RRSP.  Haven't really researched that much....
