a little stir of excitement on BNN todayin regards to pot stocks.
My finger on the pulse detects some pulsations in regards to SAFE banking and I also heard some rumblings about MORE kicking in.
SAFE will actuate banking and borrowing for potpreneurs such that they don't have to run around like a bunch of cartel or biker gang businesspeople with suitcases full of cash, same for US pot purchasers who want to use a credit or bank card.
MORE is a decriminalization act that hopefully helps those still behind bars for 30 years for pot possession and such.
Personally, I would like to see some phenomenal government action that concentrates on the Federal backazzward laws that are dominating in the US. US politicians could do something truly amazing and Federally decriminalize marijuana for adults and patients with legislation that would cover all of the States with one set of rules and if they could also incorporate InterState commerce such that California products or other could be sold in New York or other, legally.
They also need to give potpreneurs the same level playing field with beverage alcohol players and the sooner the better.
The beverage alcohol biz has already grown to relaxation and socialization venues aka bars and lounges that there is no reason to duplicate just so you can serve thc infused, healthier, less calorie and sugar drinks that could also give consumers some medical relief for common ailments.
Biden is tweeting about expeditiously re-analyizing how and why pot is lumped in with Fentanyl and Heroin and I suspect expects some changes, but the jury is still out and it will take more time.
A little hopeful like NU could have its shareprice stimulated. So far we are seeing a lot more volume but nothing from the US side which suggests we are laying low on the US radar, either to not raise awareness or just not have the funds to promote us, even though most serious potpreneurs and investors are anticipating some great days ahead for companies in and stepping in to the US marketplace which has had every level of government wanting to have their say in how this should all be unrolled.
The vertical stacking method that has been set up to show progress necessitates that every step from tail to snout, seed to sale has to be domiciled in one State such that a thriving growing area can't ship their products to another State or a huge bottling facility can't ship out of State.
Nobody else does this although there might still be some rules on the books for agricultural products to prevent disease or insect transfer.
I firmly believe that Big Alcohol doesn't have this problem and I also believe that US politicians are going to lose some of those political contributions that they are used to receiving from beverage alcohol to having to cater to the needs of potpreneurs in order to replace those influence dollars that help to get them elected and stay elected.
Beverage Alcohol has seen the writing on the wall and anticipate some serious marketshare loss to cannabinoid infused skus, especially of the beverage variety because their consumer wants healthier options and choices.
They have mastered the need for quick onset and offset for edibles and drinkables that they saw as a huge problem for unsuspecting overindulgence such that friday night's stacking of edibles because of the delay factor caused them to miss work on Monday and maybe Tuesday too because they were still too wrecked to go to work.
