The Canadian market is big enough to support cannabis companies. There are just too many companies for the Can market. The privates ones are well managed using their own money unlike wasting the public money building useless facilities, producing too much, expanding in all direction while not being profitable and they promise EBITDA.

Food for thought. Imagine yourself in the skin of a CEO and what you would do with the money from the public. Easy money is always easy to waste.
