Oncolytics Biotech Inc T.ONC

Alternate Symbol(s):  ONCY

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is focused on developing pelareorep, an intravenously delivered immunotherapeutic agent that activates the innate and adaptive immune systems and weakens tumor defense mechanisms. This compound induces anti-cancer immune responses and promotes an inflamed tumor phenotype turning cold tumors hot through innate and adaptive immune responses to treat a variety of cancers. This improves the ability of the immune system to fight cancer, making tumors more susceptible to a broad range of oncology treatments. The Company’s primary focus is to advance its programs in hormone receptor-positive / human epidermal growth factor 2- negative (HR+/HER2-) metastatic breast cancer and advanced/metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to registration-enabling clinical studies. In addition, it is exploring opportunities for registrational programs in other gastrointestinal cancers through its GOBLET platform study.

RE:RE:Biotech buyouts.
There does seem to be a problem with the low share price given the promise of pela. I do not have an explanation but I suspect the ATM is being used. I think management has said they are striving to get the best deal for shareholders and if that involves the ATM, I get that and if I add a few shares I would in essence be buying directly from the company. Before I add, I would like to know that management is not in a position to stall matters. Specifically do any principals in the company have any rights to profits; MC had some deal at one point and I thought that had been dealt with. Before I add any more, I would like to know that there are no rights in place that would give say MC or anyone else enough clout to stall or screw up an outright purchase. TIA
