RE:RE:I just got confirmation I agree. I mean, if RT did in fact postpone decommissioning of the diavik mine because of potentially economic mining potential of sequioa and maybe Arbutus, it's because a couple things:
1. They know what sequioa has to offer
2. Government may be offering assistance with gov grants, tax breaks etc just so the money dosnt shut down.
3. I can tell you this though, the decommissioning is a huge cost and lots of planning, cost and people involved. The fact that RT postponed this speaks volumes.
4. Diavik employees told to resume work as per normal. There has not been any real explanation to the employees as to why they delaying decommissioning.
