"I then looked closely at the Buckreef property and had my mentor, who has a geology background, look into the pre-feasibility study. He told me he thought the property was extremely pregnant with gold. He also contacted a geologist friend of his who had previously done work on the property who was of the opinion that there was much more to the property than just Buckreef itself. It now looks like that just might be the case as TRX has announced two additional gold bearing zones that need drilling to prove this.
In any case, after becoming confident of the property, I asked Jim if he would accept financing from me and a good friend. He agreed and we placed a $1.5 million gold loan to TRX. Over the next several years, I was fortunate enough to come across other friends and clients who had confidence in Jim and TRX. Over the following several years, I was able to finance enough to keep the firm afloat. (Please understand that during this time, well over 2,000 juniors had failed due to lack of financing.) During this time, my wife and I steadily accumulated TRX shares and have become amongst the company’s largest shareholders. We have great confidence in the project!
Back in late 2019, Jim was able to find a team capable of building a processing plant for production to enable cash flow. If you have kept up on the TRX news, much larger production is coming online and should throw off very healthy cash flow. It is my hope that management uses a good portion of the cash flow to drill and prove the entire property out as a far larger deposit than just two million ounces."
