October 12, 1962 -- The 60 year anniversary of Typhoon Frieda hitting the west coast of B.C. The worst storm in the modern era -- and just think - it was before anyone heard of the phrase "climate change". And shortly before the alarmists of the time were forecasting the coming of a mini ice age.

Not sure how we survived! Same people (the climate science community) doing the projections today? Funny how the passage of time brings things home to roost. Took about 30 years to change the Global Cooling syndrome to a Global Warming syndrome. How long for the next cycle?
