Savannah's production efficiency increased by 20 to 25%

Early results from pilot scale Dense Media Separation (DMS) indicate that 20% to 25% of the plant feed can be excluded utilizing a single stage of DMS pre-concentration. This means, the company said, that a large portion of the waste material can be rejected before the spodumene flotation stage of the process.

“Removal of up to one quarter of the ore feed going into the flotation circuit could have significant positive implications for the capital and operating costs of this section of the concentrator and the project overall,” chief executive David Archer said
