RE:RE:Hey Konaboy - You Might Learn A Few Things From Thing is Kona, you hyper hypocrisy is really annoying. Sprinkled with your obvious narcissistic "sharing" of your alleged trading prowess it just pisses everyone off. Does this surprise you? If you work in an office with other people do you update everyone, daily, with your supposed investing prowess and the awesome experiences and stuff you enjoy as a result? No. Of course not. Someone would tell you GFY, or slash your tires, or put rotten fish in your desk drawer or make their feelings known in more subtle ways. Get the hint? If you don't like people judging your choices and want to live by your own rules, fine, but don't post on social media and be surprised that most people find you obnoxious. I doubt anyone on this board lives off a trust fund and was born with a silver spoon up the gazoo. We all got here by working hard you jackhole and since roughly 40-50% (include common-law) of all marriages end in divorce you won't find sympathy here. It's in the dictionary. You can't even grasp demographics beyond your own little circle. Here in the big city, over 50% of all residents don't even come from this country! Then there are all the people like you that moved to the big city from the maritimes, or Kitchener. Toronto born resudents actually born in Toronto is a surprisingly small %. Like 25%. And a large % of them are second generation "non-white" origins. And that's counting the flood of immigrants that settled here from places like Germany,Poland,Hungary,Italy,Portugal that get counted as "white" and non immigrant if second generation. Get it now? Your self absorbed tale just reinforces your ignorance rather than garner even an iota of empathy.

I have been living on my own and supporting myself since 17. I was debt free with a nice home at 45, all on HARD work. I live by my rules, but don't judge the choices of others. I am very generous to community needs, and to friends that are in need. I am a coupon hound, amazing how much money you can save with 2 minutes and Google.
I'm not advocating becoming a mindless spending machine, just suggesting you should ask yourself why you are investing? Is it just a game? Do you have a gambling additiction (again, not judging)? Are you trying to build wealth? Assuming you are successful, what will you do with it?
Why does Warren live the way he does? Honestly I don't care, it's his life, his choice. I don't subscribe to deities, and WB is not even in that class.
You can't shame anyone for enjoying some success, and helping to keep the economy going. How else will others earn a living?
An honest GLTA, except for the schoolyard bullies. Some of whom have boasted several times about buying in at the bottom. To which I say, good for you, but leave others with a different approach alone.
