BHP's Reputation Falling??BHP, led by Mike Henry for the last 3 years or so, is showing it is unwilling to
DEAL WITH OTHERS
Particularly other smaller-sized but equally competent mining companies.
1) Witness BHP's termination of "collaboration meetings" with Nutrien on Jansen.
2) Witness 2 walkaways from high quality deposits, Noront and Oz, in safe jurisdictions.
BHP's agreement at Kabanga was NOT well thought out.
Sorry Mike, it was an M and A knee-jerk response.........
To Being Smitten By Wyloo Over Noront.
SolGold has endured YEARS of arrogance, incompetence, and bad behavior
With Nick Mather and his free-booting crew.
BHP management needs to REWARD SolGold's small shareholders
Or risk Turning SolGold into another Turquoise Hill.
Mike Henry needs to listen to advice from seasoned mining folks.
Or SolGold will remain on course to becoming a profitless, unwanted Ecuadorian asset.
Much like Coco Coba.
ADVICE FOR Mike Henry (and BHP BOARD)
1) Reward ALL SHAREHOLDERS. They are your future partners.
2) Share THE RISKS WITH OTHERS (keep in mind Llurimagua is just down the road).
3) Keep in mind that M AND A TURKS ARE..................
NEVER HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR BAD DECISIONS!!!!
