RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:NCIB vs DividendsI already see this company as running effectively as a private company. They are not trying to court new investment, they don't need to sell new shares so its in a unique position.
I see one of three things happening:
1. Management buyout/privatization
2. Sell out to a bigger casino company
3. Sell out to a private equity firm.
The first assumes that the Wills want to keep this in their family long-term. Once they own a great percentage it makes it easier to do that.
The second and third assumes that at some point they will "retire" and seek an exit.
Either way there would have to be a significant premium paid for my shares. I don't have any particular issue with them owning more and more of the company, it just means that they are going to be more diligent with making decisions related to the company. They or some other entity will eventually come asking for my stake.
