RE:RE:RE:RE:Look who made it to top 10 gainers ? LOL Thales. Based on Excellon's stock performance, your assessment of its previous CEO may be right on and if true he may even be held accountable for his actions at some point. But that's the past, lets look at going forward. Excellon is no bigger gamble now then it was in 2015 when it was bleeding money from its Platosa mining operations with AISC's in the $40 range and yet its stock price rose over 800% in a matter of months. Its stock price stayed relatively high into 2018 when it went as high as US$8.60 before investors may have figured out what you have stated about him starting an epic selloff in Excellon's stock. Excellon now has a new CEO with a Business Degree and experience and new BOD members. Excellon is finally shutting down Platosa mining operations because of its cost issues, not because it doesn't have valuable silver resources on it. At higher silver prices the economics would change, making it a positive cash flow generating option. In the meantime and near term Excellon is focusing on mining silver on its other properties in Mexico to generate cash flow. Per Excellon's new CEO's recent video presentation talking about Excellon's Mexican properties (link below at the 2:50 minute mark); "we are relentless in perusing" "near term production and producing assets". He also talked about Excellon awaiting drilling results from Kilgore and spinning off Silver City bringing more capital into Excellon and increasing shareholder value. So in many respects Excellon has a lot more going for it now than it did in 2015. The big question is will Excellon's new CEO operate Excellon in the same manor as his predecessor that caused serious financial losses to Excellon and its shareholders, or will he be Fiduciary and Corporate Governess responsible, focusing on positive returns on shareholder's investments? If he does the latter and regains investors trust and respect, Excellon and its stock price should have a bright future. So far Excellon's new CEO's remarks have been promising and shorty we should hear how he is progressing on these "ongoing value-driving initiatives". Any positives here could result in big and quick stock price up moves at these low stock prices. Another issue brought up is Excellon's previous CEO still being on the BOD. IMO, that makes sense only if Excellon uses him to fix any remaining issues he created and once done immediately removes him and the sooner the better. Doing this should go a long way in eliminating the negative perception investors had/still have about Excellon and the negative effect it has had on its stock price. It should also remove any culpability on the new CEO and BOD members for Excellon's previous CEO's actions. Relative to Eric Sprott's major stock holdings, I did a search on them. Below is what I came up with. There looks to be only 6 mining companies he has a large stake in.
