RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Time to change management
Ttinto: you write - "The owners are not on the field of play. They're in the private boxes, watching, biting their nails, and .......hoping for a hail Mary magical play"
Only problem with that is that Rick Walker is actually one of the owners that we are talking about. I think he has been a pretty good quarterback. Province has spent a billion getting power almost to their door. Also road upgrades coming, again paid for by the government (not the final piece but a lot of it) . So they have some natural delays in timeline to production and they are taking advantage by proving up a HUGE resource of high grade, and at the same time working with a number of potential partners. The pivot to producing spudomene concentrate first was driven by maked pricie increase and will get them faster to production and revenue and was a good example of take what they give you (the market forces and shifts). The Walkers have been totally clear from the beginning they want to control the resource and develop it in best interest of province, canada, shareholders, and themselves. They have ample experience and clout in construction. They have a lot of their own money invested. They are more likely than a lot of pre-production resource companies to be able to navigate their capital needs. And perhaps the biggest thing is they have a wonderful resource and are proving it daily. Quantity, quality, geology of deposit almost perfect (shallow, little overburden, wide fairway). Then there is lithium demand and location in NA adjacent to growing manufacturing base for EVs and EV batteries. NA location important for supply chan stability and regional security.
All in all, I am happy with what the Walkers are doing and I am happy to let them run with this.
