a) Was never a stockbroker / financial advisor and just plays one on BBs like this.

or 

b) Was / is one of the worst brokers I've ever communicated with.

He doesn't know a "press release / news release" when he sees one. He comments on the news release, then a day or two later claims none have been issued.

Good lord.
