Capital expenditures (CAPEX) were $US Million 47, 28.3, 21.8 and 19.6 for 2021, 2020, 2019 and 2018 respectively, for a total CAPEX of $US 116.7 Million over the last 4 fiscal years. Management’s lamentations about the present sorry state of essential production facilities indicates that essential ongoing maintenance was seriously neglected during those years. Is it time for the board of directors to shop for a smelter buyer who would not have to rely on Glencore?
