RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Russia Threatens to Crash the ISSYes and they very well may have missed their window again.  Painted it black so to speak.

We shall see as historically there is a drop in November but historically there hasn't been an NCIB in place either so.....who knows?

Go Enbridge! ;-)

SargeX wrote: Just to add to my Mar 3 post, here's the YTD total return% from Mar 3 and Mar 25. As I was recommending at the time (see copy of my post below), it would be wise for certain investors to diversify a little on the midstream front..

I've always found that it is better to just do what you plan on doing and not try and time it.

Here's the new table.

Ticker   YTD Mar25   YTD Mar3       Diff
PPL   25.20   19.03   6.17
TRP   23.02   18.12   4.90
KEY   9.60   4.73   4.87
ENB   18.70   15.22   3.48

Here's the previous quote:

ENB is definitely the riskiest of the midstreamers. If you're worried about this and that (ie: Line5, Mainline contracts, etc) with ENB, it's never too late to sell half and put it into a different midstreamer. At this point and even in spite of the run-up, I still think PPL would be your best bet. You'd lose a little on the dividend income but you'd get paid monthly and you wouldn't have to worry as much about the ex-div spanking each quarter.

If you really want to clean house, sell all your ENB and put half each into PPL and TRP or maybe keep some ENB and go 1/3 each.

I have total confidence in the first 3 but am not too sure on KEY. To top it off for KEY, the PPL/KKR deal hurts their big KAPS project as KKR is selling out of it.

Here's the table.

Ticker   YTD   3 Month   1 Year   3 Year   5 Year   10 Year
PPL   19.03   20.33   45.24   2.51   5.83   9.04
TRP   18.12   19.42   33.11   10.06   6.68   8.07
ENB   15.22   18.93   34.32   9.90   5.14   7.52
KEY   4.73   8.25   26.34   2.29   -0.29   7.86

Hey, do not underestimate the 20k window man's ability to make up a BS story to make his sht deal turn into shineola.

There was already one divy trader that sold and said he popped his earnings into PPL which was languishing and then added he also put it into TRP afterwards.  Uh-huh.  I'm not sure why this BS is ever needed just sell and FO.  No need to come back here and share your hollow victory.

PPL has since made an excellent deal and is trading up nicely but given ENB's superior div I believe it is still performing better and I didn't have to do FA to get it...again.

Go Enbridge! ;-)

I just hope 20 K window man doesn't start blabbing again about how much money he made on a fictional Tesla trade, please spare us all !!

Quin wrote:"I hope they don't crash it into Line 5.

On an off topic note (rolling eyes) this high share price virtually insures that the 20k window man and his merry band of divy trading compadres won't be returning anytime soon as they have missed their window and are now outsdie looking in.

Good riddens DBs!

Go Enbridge!  ;-)"
