RE:RE:RE:RE:Lacklustre performance Hey Dean
Thanks for the compliment. I've developed a strategy that is great for me & my wife and I think other people might be able to learn from it. Up until I settled on this dividend income/growth strategy back in 2011-2013, I had periods where I really worried about the market and made the odd emotional sell mistake.
Now, the short term stuff (eg: the 2020 Covid beat-down, etc) doesn't affect me at all. I know what we hold is going to do well over the long term and pay great divys along the way.
Anyway, when times get a little rough, it's nice for some people to hear a calming voice.

PPL is up almost 14% YTD excluding its great divy which would add another $2.17 or 5.6%. (so almost 20% total return YTD). The TSX is down -10%.
PPL is by far my fav midstreamer and is actually in my top 3 overall. I really like it and think the joint venture with KKR is going to work out incredibly well. On top of that, I think all midstreamers are going to do very, very well in the next couple years.
Maybe time for GICs???
