Bashers and Cronie Aliasses In GeneralStock bashing in general might be more than just daytraders. Why would groups of posters seem to go out of their way to constantly perpetuate exagggerated negative "sentiment" on a stock they don't want to own, but they might own long at the same time? Is the purpose of creating a degrading, negative mood hellbent on shaping a forum's main message to turn as many people off on the stock they target as possible? Might that hasten the lowering of the share price during the cyclical ebbs and flows of the companies they target? Do they try to make current shareholders or new shareholders feel insecure about their bet on a stock they have targeted to bash?
Are their groups of bashers that might partake in financings only to bash that company so that they can trade shares released back into the market by any doubtful shareholders so that the bashers can try to trade their way to accelerate their goal of arriving at zero cost for their long holdings in any of the companies they target?
