A few days prior I posted this with no response . Long winded but the questions are clear Funny enough I later found a 2013 Pyrogenesis article which confirmed the 70% effeiency
I had no clue of Vales decision but you sure know the pumpers knew.
Good Evening Mr Pascali
As you may be aware there has been much recent "discussion" over the RISE Iron pellet tests in Sweden which is leading to the typical speculation which damages the company stock.
There are several PYR and HPQ Supporters who consistantly make exaggerated claims and statements which ultimately leads to investor disappointment and serious credibility issues with the company even when the statements are not made by the company.
The stock and investors would fair better with accurate information, timelines and realistic expectations. I trust you can clear up some questions in regards to the Swedish pellet tests and Iron pellet projects as a whole.
On March 4 2020, Almost 3 years ago, PYR had a press release which stated;
"As announced, these tests have concluded successfully, and discussions are now taking place for follow on work and additional torch orders."
The Hybrit website has the following which I believe the bio oil project trials was Sept 2020.
"The fossil free pellet production has been developed at LKAB’s pellet plant in Malmberget, Sweden, during 2020-2021. In the pellet plant, bio oil has been used to switch to 100 percent renewable fuel. HYBRIT supplemented LKAB’s existing plant in Malmberget with a special tank for bio oil as well as associated piping systems. It is the world’s first fossil-free pellet plant. In autumn 2020, successful trials to produce the world’s first iron ore pellets with fossil-free fuel were conducted and the development is now taking the next step.. Hybrit Sweden Fossil free pellet production Further down they mention plasma and hydrogen was also tested but IMHO reads like a "also ran " statement and I can find no references to current testing or trials of plasma anywhere on the related websites.
In Feb 2021 you did respond to basic questions on here in regards to the Plasma and Hydrogen but I believe didnt address the Bio Oil which was in production trials. I cannot locate any current press releases dealing with the swedish pellets,
Please clarify the situation for all investors and dispel any incorrect information by answering some questions.
A: Can you confirm if there is any contracts or additional orders from Hybrit or LKAB after the original single torch order from 2019 ?
B: Would it be reasonable for investors to believe that LKAB /Hybrit will not be proceeding with Plasma torches at this time or the forceeable future and there is not current contract negotiations with LKAB and the previously announced in your press release are terminated? Alternatively if there is contracts and trials proceeding please update the investors.
The 2019 thesis which is widely touted by PYR "Supporters" showed plasma economically viable at .03 usd per kwh. I believe current commercial contracts are over .30 EURO per KWH and climbing thru 2024 . I also believe Brazil commercial costs are.154 usd in March 2022 with serious inflation issues.
You have touted Plasma as an economical heat source. It appears Natural Gas and Bio Oil may be substantially cheaper and Hydrogen TBD. Obviously Bunker is cheaper but clearly unacceptable for continued use by any industry.
Also I believe a cement oven thesis showed Plasma as substantially more than gas based on around .065 usd per KWH which is well below market.
C: Can you provide investors with a current operating cost analysis of Plasma, Natural Gas, Bio Fuel and Hydrogen based on million BTUs basis or similar . Please include bunker for comparison purposes.
D: Can you confirm the thermal efficiency of PYR's 1 or 3 meg plasma torches ,
E Was the NOx issue that was identified dealt with successfully during the RISE testing
F And lastly if Sweden did not chose plasma as the heat source as it appears what would give plasma an advantage in other locations including Brazil as natural gas, Bio oil are locally available and despite partial ownership of some dams the company must factor market value of the electricity.
You have been previously been asked for updates on several projects and If you will not or now cannot answer on a public forum please provide a press release with updates so investors can make educated investment decisions and dispel the misinformation on the web spread by either pumpers or bashers .
And for the record I am not now and have never directly or indirectly held a short position in PYR or HPQ.
