RE: Listen to Ray Smith from BellsouthI listened to the video presentation by Bell South. They plan to grow their DSL customer base from 215K at the end of 2000 to 600K by the end of 2001. This is an increase of 385K customers. At 550* lines per NHC unit, they would require 385K/550 = 700 units. At 250K per unit, that implies a max of $175M potentially for NHC just for 2001 from Bell South. And yes, Bell South is reducing truck rolls as per the presentation. Seems to me that a guess at $100M just for 2001 would not be too wild. This is just my opinon. *550 lines per unit: hope this is correct - I remember 554 lines.
