RE:RE:The new client is definitively Norsk Hydro First it is not a new client, This was pressed last April and then repumped out of pathetic desperation.
Dont get too excited as its a modelling contract for a study by Norske's helium division. Gee do you think plasma torches will be cheaper than hydrogen they generate with renewables at off hours? hmmm Dont hold your breathe for the torch order,..
Here is my post from CEO
@sorrenson @Atachetatuque Lets ask Norske But note the study is by their own hydrogen division. All the other links add up to Hydrogen but this link at least mentions electricity. https://www.hydro.com/en/media/on-the-agenda/hydros-roadmap-to-zero-emission-aluminium-production/
To reduce the product footprint to zero, Hydro’s target is to develop technology to replace natural gas with renewable energy in the form of electricity, biogas or green hydrogen for the casthouse furnaces. This requires further research and development. Hydro Havrand is coordinating a study to look at alternatives. The aim is to develop technology pilots by 2024, with the ambition to industrialize new technology by 2026 GOGREENBABY wrote:
This is truly impressive. Thanks for posting this !

They are very inovative.
The world's most energy-efficient aluminium production technology
Hydro's pilot plant in Karmy, Norway, began operations in January 2018 with the most climate- and energy-efficient aluminium production technology in the world.
