BCSC and IIROC

BCSC and IIROC

A bunch of overpaid civil servants that pump-and-dump promoters called them out to fu*k off and laughed at their face. Like fox guarding the hen house. They are no watchdog for the investing public. I have yet run across a trading halt by IIROC in recent times before material news release by an issuer.

At least in the old days, the Superintendent of Securities and brokers in BC found the late Murray Pezim guilty of not disclosing excellent material drilling results at Eskay Creek before awarding themselves huge options with the case grounded in law by the Supreme Court on appeal. On the flip side, bad results must also be promptly released before any dumping by insiders leaving shareholders in the dark sucking fumes.
