RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:SOMETHING TO KEEP AN EYE ONNo insult taken Nobody, and I offer up my own apology for being so sharp tongued. For the most part, I like this board, and there are some bright people here with varying perspectives. I just have little patience for people who incessently cheerlead, as that serves no purpose. Again, we are here to make money, and to do that well, you need to entertain all thoughts and perspectives (well presented), and incorporate all realtime data as it comes to light.
As for the "news" of the moment, do I think it's a big deal? It's hard to tell. I'm hedgy of the degree and extent of media coverage, but that could be the trader coming out in me, who parses realtime effect of realtime data/information. Yes, the news can have short term impact, and I would be surprised if it didn't. Longer term? I think it puts a press on the carbon nutral options to get into play. Bombardier is doing well in their development, but it really can't come soon enough given the current/growing public mood. Ultimately I don't think it will impact, other than to possibly push things out a little further. But in the end, it's still an excellent investment I think.
At the same time though, this story is worth keeping an eye on. We really don't want it to get further traction. Remember when Hummer's came out? Coolest thing ever. And then very quickly, Hummer owners were basically shamed into selling their toys because of how horrible they were on gas guzzling. Now, maybe the jet buying public could care less.....I don't know and will have to think on that one. Anyway, in the end, I bring this news item forward because it IS possibly impactful, and as such, worthy of thinking about.
We'll see what the market has to say about it tomorrow.

I just stated two things I noticed.. the other user who used to brag about his day-trading prowess and insult longs turn long and play nice and you somehow suddenly flipping from multiple-bagging hopes to putting up 2 postings that are in the opposite direction. You should read my post again. It wasn't a complaint at all. Good luck to you, no hard feelings here.

Again, this is not a cheerleading forum. It is a forum to discuss everything that impacts the stock. In fact, it was a clear assessment of a change in Bombardier that brought me to the company after years of avoiding it. But you didn't seem to complain at that time when I joined in. So let me be even more blunt. Grow up. You are here to make money at nothing less. Ample discussion of ALL aspects of a stock and everything impacting it is fair game, and should be fully encouraged.

I guess it's normal to change your mind or adjust with whatever is going on.. just weird that it happens at the same time some other user that used to bash longs claims to now be one. Anyway, no one should influenced by what others say in here but we all know how people can somehow be manipulated.. conspiracy theories are the best proof of this..
Nordico wrote: The tone of your posts sure changed since your recent selling of part of your position. Just a short while ago you were posting frequent praises of BBD as one of the best multibagger opportunities you've ever come across. Shame! Shame!

Traction in my books is two things. First, that some event happens, and secondly, that the media feels the story is newsworthy and picks up on it. The following article was just posted on CNBC. Climate activists swarm private jets at Amsterdam airport to protest pollution https://www.cnbc.com/2022/11/05/climate-protesters-swarm-amsterdams-schiphol-airport-.html?__source=androidappshare
