(i) Gross margin is defined as gross profit divided by net revenue.
(ii) Net income (loss) of $(36.9) million in Q3
2022 declined by $114.6 million from Q3
2021. The decline year-over-year was primarily driven by the fluctuation in the non-cash gain on revaluation of derivative liabilities.
(iii) See “Non-GAAP Measures” for more information, including a reconciliation of adjusted earnings (loss) before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (“Adjusted EBITDA”) to net income (loss).
(iv) Dollar amounts are as of the last day of the period indicated.
(v) Capital expenditures represent component information of investing activities and is defined as the sum of purchase of property, plant and equipment, and purchase of intangible assets
How they embellish things in their report. People can see it by clicking the 'Financials" tab above and put the revenue on a quarterly basis.
So.....
Net revenue of $20.4 million in Q3 2022 increased by $2.1 million from Q3 2021. Such poor increase in revenue from the last Q3 2021. But what they don't say it that their revenue declined from the 3 previous quarters.
$20.4 million + $2.1 million = $21.4 millions (lower than 3 previous quarters) They prefer to tell people that their revenue increase from Q3 2021 instead of saying they are declining from the 3 previous quarters, which is a lot more important showing the saturation of the market, too many competitors for the pie. So Chonos went from $25.80 M in Dec 21 to $21.4 M. Note that this quarter decline is steeper than the 3 previous quarter decline. The bag holders will call this post "bashing".
