RE:RE:RE:uncertian futureA reasoned and reasonable response befree. And you are so right that humanity is adaptive. What is always needed is will power to initiate any change. Can we make the necessary changes in enough time to make a difference? Not if most people, governments and businesses don't want to. If you do the math of 90 million barrels of oil a day (approx global use) times $100/barrel equals $9 Trillion dollars per day times 365 days per year. It'a a lot of money and also money that many governments, shareholders, companies and workers don't want to give up, climate be damned. As the UN is pointing out we have a choice to go on unchanged and face escalating climate disasters or collectively be willing to change and redirect our adaptiveness to save ourselves and the planet. It isn't an overnight shift and doesn't have to be a 180 degree u-turn but if we don't start serious change nothing
